How has SMPS helped you in your career?
I think the SMPS continuing education is extremely valuable as a way to sharpen my skills and grow my abilities within my firm.
What has been your memorable SMPS event to date, and why?
I really enjoyed The Write Stuff with Dianna Brown. She focused on ways to make your proposal writing more compelling to the client, and I found it very useful.
What do you love most about your job?
I love that I get to partner with our principals to help them win the projects that they are passionate about. Working in proposals for the AEC industry is very exciting because there is so much room to grow. There is always something I can learn and ways to do the job better which keeps it engaging.
What is your ideal way to spend your weekends?
My current hobbies include reading, bicycling, hiking/being outdoors, and film photography. My ideal weekend has some combination of those things while spending time my husband and dog 🐶.
